Medically Cleared!

I'm finally medically cleared after 7 months. Next up is legal clearance and placement. I'm nominated for a program in June but we'll have to see what my placement officer says. She'll review my file next week.

Departure could be drawing nigh and I still have to sell my home. However, a recent event is unfolding that may compel me to delay Peace Corps. My company, Qwest, is trying to beat out Verizon for the acquisition of MCI. If we're successful with this bid, I will choose to stay through the merger and integration (~14 months).
